Notre Dame concert
The University of Notre Dame Chorale will perform in concert at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Roanoke on Friday, January 13, at 7 p.m. The ensemble of 60 singers that specializes in choral works from the Renaissance to the present has toured extensively throughout the United States, Europe and New Zealand and sang for Pope Benedict XVI at a General Audience in Rome in May 2011. PCHS Open House
Peninsula Catholic High School in Newport News will hold an admis-sions Open House for prospective students and their families for the next school year on Sunday, January 29, starting at 2 p.m. The program will provide an opportunity to see facilities, meet students and staff, tour the school, learn about academic, athletic and co-curricular offerings, and get a glimpse into what the “PC Experience” is all about. The school is located at 600 Harpersville Road in Newport News and serves students in grades 8 through 12.
“A Time For Two,” is the theme of a retreat for married couples to be held at The Well Retreat Center in Smithfield on Friday and Saturday, February 10-11. Come celebrate your Marriage with your spouse and journey with scripture while enhancing your relationship. Registration will be at 5 p.m. Friday with dinner at 6:30 and breakfast and lunch on Saturday with departure Saturday afternoon. Cost is $120 per couple.
