Deacon Ordination: 19 Deacons to be ordained Oct. 13 at the Cathedral

Bishop Francis X. DiLorenzo will ordain 19 men to the permanent diaconate on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 10:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Richmond.

The men, all of whom have been in formation for the diaconate for several years, including ministry in their parishes, are from various areas of the diocese.

A second ordination liturgy for another group of 19 men to the diaconate will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, at 10:30 a.m., also at the Cathedral.
