Director of Music
Location: Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Henrico, Va.
Job Summary: Full-time (35 hrs. per week) Musical/Liturgical responsibilities include: 3 weekend Masses, weekly rehearsals, recruitment, weddings, funerals. Maintaining music library, updating musical text, purchasing music, reporting music copyright requirements online, participating in budget, instrument maintenance, preparation of worship aids, staff and liturgy meetings. Other duties as assigned by pastor. Education and/or Certification: Bachelor of Music (minimum). Masters in Music or related degree preferred.
Experience: Prior Catholic music positions, Post Vatican II music preference.
Skills: Organ/piano skills, transposition skills, strong choral background and computer skills, cooperative interpersonal approach and collaborative team style. Salary: Commensurate with experience and degree level.

Associate Directors
The Virginia Catholic Conference, the public-policy agency of Virginia’s Catholic bishops and their two dioceses, is seeking applicants for two Associate Director positions.
Responsibilities for both positions include, but are not limited to:
- Policy analysis, research, and development
- Advocacy of Conference priorities with lawmakers
- Development and delivery of presentations (e.g., testimony at public hearings, speeches, panel remarks, and interviews)
- Drafting of alerts and updates
- Staff support to advisory committees
- Development of voter-education materials and other resources for parishes, Catholic schools, and diocesan offices
- Grassroots outreach/recruitment
