Welcome Home program
Christ the King Catholic Church in Abingdon will conduct an ongoing series called “Welcome Home” on six consecutive Mondays at 7 p.m. in the church hall, beginning July 25. These sessions are for non-practicing Catholics seeking answers to questions about returning to the Church.
There will be informal sharing and an update on the Catholic faith. Christ the King is located at Highway 11 East (Off Exit 19, Int. 81). For more information call Stan Stefanowicz at 276-646-2482 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Food and Jazz Festival
St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Richmond will hold its annual Jazz and Food Festival on Saturday, Aug. 6, from 12 noon to 7 p.m. on the church grounds, 2712 2nd Ave. in Richmond’s Highland Park neighborhood. There will be food, fun and fellowship.
