Director of Athletics

Saint Gertrude High School is seeking applicants for the position of Athletic Director. This position assists the President in supervision of coaches and others involved in the school’s athletic programs. Knowledge of the overall operation of a Division I athletic program is necessary. It is a 12 month position and previous experience as a coach is desirable. A valid teacher certification or degree in Sports Management is preferred along with a Commercial Drivers License (CDL). Varsity Field Hockey Coach

Saint Gertrude High School is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead the Field Hockey Program. The head coach will be responsible for the program which is comprised of a juniors program, Junior Varsity and Varsity teams. Saint Gertrude High School (Richmond, Virginia), an independent Catholic college preparatory day school for young women in grades 9-12, is seeking professional candidates for the position of Director of Development to lead a successful and comprehensive development program. Reporting directly to the President, the Director of Development is responsible for the fundraising program to include planning, designing, developing, implementing and managing the Annual Fund, Major Gifts, Capital and Endowment Campaigns and special events. This position requires knowledge and experience in Estate and Planned Giving; and ability to effectively manage a department. The selected candidate will be a fundraising professional and have a minimum of 3-5 years successful fund-raising and development leadership experience; plus a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Requires strong interpersonal, organizational, managerial, analytical and leadership skills, in addition to being energetic, motivated, creative and a self-starter.
