The grant will be used to support the school’s Discovery Program. The program helps students with learning disabilities by helping them recognize their challenge and teaching them how they can work through it.

Blessing of organ
Bishop Emeritus Walter F. Sullivan blesses an organ donated by Mary Beth Enderson, a member of St. Joseph’s parish in Hampton, to St. Francis Home in Richmond. Mrs. Enderson, here playing the organ, and her husband delivered it to the home Dec. 16. The 80-year-old organ was originally purchased by Mrs. Enderson’s mother and had been in the family since it was new. None of the Enderson’s eight children or 22 grandchildren wanted the organ. She donated it to St. Francis Home which has placed it in its chapel where it will be used for Mass and other religious services.
