Director of Religious EducationThe Church of St. Thérèse in Chesapeake, Virginia is seeking a full time Director of Religious Education. The DRE plans, develops and leads a comprehensive parish religious formation process modeled after an intergenerational catechetical approach. The DRE is also responsible for sacramental preparation and the RCIA. The successful candidate will hold a master’s degree in religious education, theology or a related field or a bachelor’s degree with graduate study. Three to five years experience as a coordinator or leader is preferred. The salary is commensurate with the compensation guidelines established by the Diocese of Richmond.
