Principal Position
Blessed Sacrament Huguenot Catholic School in Powhatan, VA is accepting applications for the position of Principal. The candidate must be a practicing Catholic in good standing, posses excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have a strong commitment to a Catholic philosophy of education. Prior administrative experience and experience in a unit school (PS–12) is preferred. Review of applications has begun and will continue until the position is filled.  Administrative assistant
The San Lorenzo Spiritual Center in Virginia Beach seeks a part-time administrative assistant to provide administrative support for the Center and the Interim Executive Director. Qualifications include a high school diploma, two to three years experience in an administrative role, working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, good teamwork skills, tact and skill in dealing with people, and strong organizational and time management skills. A candidate who is a practicing Catholic is preferred. Closing date is June 23, 2008. Youth Ministry Leader
The Church of St. Thérèse in Chesapeake, Virginia is seeking a motivated individual to serve as our Youth Ministry Leader. Responsibilities include collaborating with staff and volunteers to coordinate a catechetical program for grades 7–12 as part of Generations of Faith as well as coordinating the sacramental preparation program for Confirmation. The position requires 25–30 hours per week, which includes some evenings and weekends during the catechetical year. The Leader will support the maintenance of a safe and moral environment for minors. The candidate must be an active, practicing Catholic who is training or is willing to train for the YM field including working toward completion of PATHWAYS and PLMF certification. Some related training and experience is preferred. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
