Youth Ministry LeaderThe Church of St. Thérèse in Chesapeake, Virginia is seeking a motivated individual to serve as our Youth Ministry Leader. Responsibilities include collaborating with staff and volunteers to coordinate a catechetical program for grades 7–12 as part of Generations of Faith as well as coordinating the sacramental preparation program for Confirmation. The position requires 25–30 hours per week, which includes some evenings and weekends during the catechetical year. The Leader will support the maintenance of a safe and moral environment for minors. The candidate must be an active, practicing Catholic who is training or is willing to train for the YM field including working toward completion of PATHWAYS and PLMF certification. Some related training and experience is preferred. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
