Irish Festival in Richmond now independent from diocese

Dear Friends:

This is to certify that the Irish Festival of Richmond, Virginia is an independent festival outside of the operation and control of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond. The Irish Festival is currently being separately incorporated and beginning with the 2008 festival will function independentlyof the Catholic Diocese of Richmond, even though it is held on and around the grounds of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

The Irish Festival has my permission to continue to use the facilities of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Richmond during their annual festival. The rent for the use of these facilities will be $1.00. The Irish Festival will furnish satisfactory evidence of liability and other types of insurance satisfactory to the Director of Risk Management for the Catholic Diocese of Richmond. The Irish Festival will be solely responsible for the distribution of its funds.
