Good Friday Stations of the Cross

An interfaith Good Friday Stations will be held in the Church Hill neighborhood of Richmond on March 21.

Christians from various congregations will once again gather for prayer on the streets of Church Hill to remember the events that led to Jesus’ suffering and death.

“We will pray for our city and our world, that we might follow Jesus’ way of forgiveness and nonviolence,” said John Gallini, spokesperson of the group organizers.

The theme this year is “Speaking Truth to Power.”

The walk covers two and a half miles, starting at Patrick Henry Park (24th and Broad Sts.) at 11:45 a.m., and ending across the street in the graveyard at St. John’s Episcopal Church by 3 p.m.
