Bookkeeper

St. James Catholic Church in Hopewell has an opening for a part-time bookkeeper. The position requires a general knowledge of computers, Windows software, QuickBooks software and accounts payable and receivable. Applicants must be willing to work 24 hours a week, Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Salary is negotiable. Director for Roanoke Office

Refugee and Immigration Services seeks candidates for the position of director of its Roanoke office. The director will oversee refugee resettlement activities and services to immigrants in the area. Our goal is to help newcomers to overcome barriers to self-sufficiency and create a community climate of welcome. The director will supervise a dynamic staff of 20, coordinate with community providers, and assist with program development. The director should be an individual with vision, leadership skills, social service and supervisory experience. $32,000 – $37,000 + benefits.
