Clergy appointments

Bishop Francis X. DiLorenzo has made the following clergy appointments, effective immediately:

• Rev. Michael Renninger has been named acting rector of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart upon the death of Msgr. William V. Sullivan. He will continue to serve as diocesan Vicar for Vocations.

• Rev. Msgr. Francis Muench has been named Judicial Vicar. He will continue to serve as pastor of Prince of Peace Church, Chesapeake.
