40 Days for Life witness to begin in Charlottesville

St. Thomas Aquinas parish in Charlottesville will be among many parishes in 89 cities in 33 states participating in the 40 Days for Life campaign seeking an end to abortion beginning Wednesday, Sept. 26, and ending Sunday, Nov. 4.

The witness is made up of three components — prayer and fasting, a peaceful vigil outside the Planned Parenthood office on Hydraulic Road and a private abortion clinic on Commonwealth Drive, and community outreach.

Catholics and other Christians are encouraged to make a one-hour commitment to be part of a vigil on a specific day of the week at a set hour.

For more information, call Mary at 434–964–9121 or email Pam at pamelalangs@yahoo.com to sign up for a specific day and hour. There is a website at www.40daysforlife.com/charlottesville.
