Minister of Adult Formation

Part time position at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Responsibilities include planning and implementation of formation opportunities for adult and young adult members of the parish. Planning and implementing RCIA, Adult Confirmation/re-Membering Church, coordinate scripture study groups, recruit/train volunteers and some administrative duties. Bachelor’s degree in religious studies or related field or graduate level background in theology/catechesis and some parish experience in adult formation needed. Bookkeeper Administrative Assistant

The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Richmond, seeks a part–time Bookkeeper/Admin. Assistant. The bookkeeper performs the duties that ensure proper maintenance of accounting records, processing of receivables, payables and prepares routine and special accounting reports. The position is 20 hours a week. Requirements: preferably 2–5 years of bookkeeping experience, a working knowledge of basic accounting principles, and strong computer skills (to use Parish Data System software, QuickBooks, Excel, etc.).

Annual Fund Director

Benedictine High School is actively seeking a full time Annual Fund Director. This individual will develop, implement and monitor a comprehensive plan to increase Annual Fund giving for multiple constituent groups.

Working closely with the Advancement Director, the Annual Fund Director will oversee all aspects of the annual fund campaign and coordinate specific events during the year to impact this initiative. The professional we seek will work with Class Agents, Reunion Chairs, the Alumni Board and others to meet our objectives.

Teaching assistant

Preschool Teacher Assistant. Part-time assistant to preschool director and co-facilitator of Lunch Bunch extended day program (Mon., Tues., Wed.) and summer camps. The preschool assistant is responsible for the daily well-being and development of the children enrolled in the preschool program. Diocesan Natural Family Planning Coordinator

The Catholic Diocese of Richmond is seeking a part-time, work-from-home person to serve as its Natural Family Planning (NFP) Coordinator. Administrative responsibilities include overseeing the certification process for NFP instructors; processing payments and stipend requests from instructors; mailing/e-mailing promotional materials to NFP supporters and interested individuals; updating diocesan NFP materials as needed; and fielding inquiries about NFP. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, preferably in theology, ministry, or nursing. Experience working in a ministerial or family life setting is required. Must be Catholic, maintain a lifestyle consistent with Catholic moral teaching, and uses and/or philosophically accepts NFP and does not use any form of contraception.

The position is 7 hours per week. Pay is approximately $12.92 per hour. Some travel is required.
