Bishop Francis X. DiLorenzo has announced the following clergy appointments, effective June 25:

Rev. Barnabas Anikoh, coming to the diocese from Okene in the Diocese of Lokoja, Nigeria, to Administrator of St. Timothy, Tappahannock.

Rev. Venancio Balarote, Jr., remaining as Pastor of St. Pius X, Norfolk, and becoming Pastor of Holy Trinity, Norfolk.

Rev. W. Daniel Beeman, newly ordained, to Parochial Vicar for St. Pius X, Norfolk, and Holy Trinity, Norfolk.

Rev. Michael Boehling, from Parochial Vicar to Pastor of Church of the Holy Angels, Church of the Resurrection and St. Paul, Portsmouth, and St. Mary’s, Bowers Hill.

Rev. Rene Castillo, continuing as Pastor of St. Gerard parish, Roanoke, and now also Pastor of Church of the Transfiguration, Fincastle, and St. John the Evangelist, New Castle.

Rev. Robert Cole, from Parochial Vicar, Our Lady of Nazareth, Roanoke, to Parochial Vicar, St. Bede, Williamsburg.

Rev. James Glass, O.S.B., from Parochial Vicar, St. Bridget’s, Richmond, to Pastor, St. Theresa’s, Farmville.

Rev. Robert McEleney (retired), to serve as Sacramental Priest for Church of the Transfiguration, Fincastle, and St. John the Evangelist, New Castle.

Rev. Rodrigo Mingollo, from Parochial Vicar, St. Bede, Williamsburg, to Pastor, St. Peter the Apostle, Onley.

Rev. Msgr. R. Francis Muench, from Pastor, Prince of Peace, Chesapeake, to full-time Judicial Vicar of Diocesan Tribunal, with residence at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.

Rev. Nixon Negparanon, from St. Pius X, Norfolk, to Parochial Vicar of Our Lady of Nazareth, Roanoke; St. Francis of Assisi, Rocky Mount, and Church of the Resurrection, Moneta.
