Minister of Adult Formation

Part time position at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Responsibilities include planning and implementation of formation opportunities for adult and young adult members of the parish. Planning and implementing RCIA, Adult Confirmation/re-Membering Church, coordinate scripture study groups, recruit/train volunteers and some administrative duties. Bachelor’s degree in religious studies or related field or graduate level background in theology/catechesis and some parish experience in adult formation needed. Director for the Office of Asian Ministry

The selected individual will collaborate with parishes and diocesan offices in the evangelization, formation and training of Asians. Coordinator of  Youth Ministry

St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Blacksburg, VA is seeking an outgoing, energetic leader with experience working with youth to lead our youth ministry program for grades 6–12. The coordinator will provide a program for Catholic religious education, activities, and projects for all of our parish youth. This person must be able to work closely with the director of religious ed., pastor, parish staff, parents and volunteers. Interested candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and some prior experience in youth ministry and/or catechesis. This is a 20–30 hour-a-week position with flexible hours requiring evening and weekends where applicable. Computer skills are required.

Regional Coordinator for Norms Development and Implementation

The Catholic Diocese of Richmond seeks a part-time Regional Coordinator for Development and Implementation of Called to Be Disciples: Catechetical Norms for the Diocese of Richmond. This two-day (14 hours) per week position will assist the Christian Formation Director in developing the diocesan catechetical Norms plus provide support for new and current catechetical leaders in the Eastern Vicariate of the Diocese (regions 1,2,3,4,12). The selected individual will have a masters degree in religious education, theology, or pastoral ministry, and have at least three years’ experience as a catechetical leader. Director of Institutional Advancement

Peninsula Catholic High School seeks a dynamic, talented, results-oriented individual to serve as Director of Institutional Advancement to implement a comprehensive advancement program in support of the overall mission and goals of the school. The responsibilities of the position include: coordinating the Annual Giving campaign, participating in the writing of grant proposals to secure funds for special projects, coordinating donor cultivation and recognition, supporting special events committees, and nurturing alumni relations. Minister of Christian Formation/Pastoral Associate

St. Ann’s Church is seeking a full time Minister of Christian Formation/Pastoral Associate to begin July 30, 2007. The position is responsible for resourcing adult formation and continuing the development of whole community catechesis, and for supervising the children and youth religious education program (600 families).
