Accountant PositionOur Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church is seeking an experienced accountant. This is a part time position requiring twenty-five hours per week. The person will be responsible for maintaining the parish financial records and working with the pastor or his delegate in managing the finances of the parish. Maintenance Position — Part TimeOur Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church is seeking a part-time maintenance person to work with our existing staff. This three day per week opportunity requires prior work experience in a similar position. Coordinator of Christian FormationThe Church of the Incarnation seeks applicants for the full-time position of Coordinator of Christian Formation. Located in Charlottesville Virginia, within the Catholic Diocese of Richmond, Incarnation (www.incarnationparish.org) is a vibrant community of 1000 households with a contemporary style of worship and strong parishioner participation in ministry and faith formation. Responsibilities include overseeing the catechetical program for pre-K through 10th grade, recruiting, training, and supervising catechists, preparing children for 1st Reconciliation and 1st Communion, adult education, and overseeing a safe nursery/childcare environment in accord with diocesan regulations. The selected candidate will work closely with the pastor, youth ministers, minister of worship, and other parish staff for parish-wide education programs. Applicants should have a B.A. in religious education, theology, or related field, or equivalency in class work, and 3+ years experience as a catechist or teacher. Applicants should be familiar with Whole Community Catechesis and be willing to explore its implementation.
